It is easy for your home to accumulate an abundance of items over the years, reaching the point of needing a bit of spring-cleaning. So why not help communities in need at the same time?
At Worth Its Weight, part of our ethos is trying to make a positive difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate. As part of the services we offer, we accept donations of various items, ranging from linen to video games, and then make sure they get passed onto people who they will make a positive impact on.
It’s easy to start helping out, just find our closest branch to you, and then use our service to donate linen, books, CDs and other items to those in need.
What Items Can Be Donated?
At our cash for sites, we accept various items as donations, covering a range of areas. While we try to accept what we can, there are some exceptions that we can’t accept.

Or if you visit one of our branches, our helpful team will be able to help you sort through your items and tell you what we can accept.

Donated Items We Don’t Accept
Unfortunately, we aren’t able to accept all forms of donated items. Also, we cannot accept items if they are damaged, dirty, or wet, so please make sure the items you are looking to donate are in a usable condition.

Where Do Your Donations Go To?
At Worth Its Weight, we work to give your donated items a second lease on life, by bringing them to communities who will benefit from them the most. Even items such as old books and video games are useful to donate, as they can help children in need by letting them have fun and brightening their day.
We work to distribute donated items to areas such as Africa, South America, The Philippines, Ukraine, and the Middle East.

Looking to Declutter More?
At Worth Its Weight, we offer other services alongside our donations service. If you are looking to declutter your home from more than just the listed donation items, you can also use Worth Its Weight to clear out your clothes, shoes, and household bric-a-brac. For these items, we will buy your old items from you for cash, based on the total weight of what you’ve brought in.
Can’t Make it to One of Our Branches?
If you are looking to declutter your home but don’t have the time to visit one of our sites, then you can set up a collection time with Anglo Doorstep Collections, our sister company that provides donation-based collections.
Simply book a collection time, and we’ll collect any unwanted items you want to donate, and then give any proceeds to charity.
